Who does People R Us serve?
We support adolescents aged 13 to 21 who are facing behavioral, mental health, or substance use challenges. Many of the youth we serve are involved in the child welfare system or have experienced trauma, instability, or family separation.

Yes. We operate 24-hour residential programs designed to provide structure, therapeutic care, and support for youth in crisis or transition.

We offer individual, family, and group therapy. Our approach is trauma-informed and adapted to each youth’s specific needs, focusing on emotional regulation, healing, and skill-building.
Absolutely. We believe that long-term healing happens through connection. Family therapy, supervised visits, and regular communication with caregivers and caseworkers are central to our model.
We work with county agencies and CYS teams. Youth may be referred through voluntary placements or as part of a case plan. All placements are coordinated in partnership with relevant service providers.
Length of stay varies depending on the needs of the youth and the referring agency. Our programs are short-term and focused on stabilization, assessment, and transition planning.
