Preparing teens for life beyond residential care is a key part of what we do. Our transition services include individual therapy, medication management, and help with navigating medical appointments and community resources. Youth also learn vital skills in decision-making, emotional regulation, and responsibility, thus laying the foundation for a confident, stable, and self-directed future. We have weekly life skills groups and outings several times a week in the community that are designed to help our residents learn to interact independently in their community.
Some ways in which we support such youth include:
- Individual Therapy
- Outpatient Group Sessions
- In-Person Appointments
- Medication Management
- Motivational Interviewing
- Life-skills Groups
- Outings for Independent Interaction
